About
Jaimme Guan is a product director focused on intelligent consumer hardware. His work moves between user research, product strategy, industrial design, engineering and team building.
Trained at UCL Bartlett’s IAL Design Laboratory, his early work explored spatial interfaces and human–robot interaction. He later led smart-home, AR and robotic-pool-cleaner programs for global markets.
As a graduate of the IAL Design Laboratory of UCL Bartlett College (No. 1 in European Design field ), I was the only Chinese student in the history of the College to be awarded the Sir Peter Cook award for my independent work, the spherical robot “1st Element.” Selected as a MIT Media Lab TMG candidate the same year.
Upon returning to China, began specializing in consumer smart products.
As the Head of Product innovative center our key products led include smart speakers, smart refrigerators, AR projectors, and robotic pool cleaners. Over the past three years, I established a wireless robotic pool cleaner innovation team in China(Aiper & Smorobot), creating multiple best-selling product lines and achieving breakthroughs in core product feature which driven the market share of wireless robotic pool cleaners globally from 5% to over 20% with sales exceeding $300 million (across Amazon, DTC, and European/American offline channels).
